Assign a signatory to a placeholder

Double-click any placeholder on the document below. The select-signatory dialog opens; choose a person and the placeholder takes on their color — so at a glance you know who signs where.

Workflow

From upload to signed

1

Place placeholders

Upload a document to the Signature module and drop signature placeholders wherever they belong — across multiple pages and locations, as many as the document needs.

2

Save as a template

Save the document with its placeholder layout as a template and download it. The next time you need the same arrangement, reuse the template instead of placing regions again.

3

Assign signatories

Double-click a placeholder to open the select-signatory dialog. Pick the signatory, and the placeholder recolors to that signatory's color — a clear visual map of who signs each region.

4

Send for signature

Send the document to its signatories. Each person receives their signing invitation with their assigned regions ready.

5

Sign within the region

Every signatory places their signature inside their own placeholder region — nowhere else — keeping the final document clean, ordered, and verifiable.

Two kinds

Handwritten & digital placeholders

A placeholder carries a type, and the type decides what can be dropped inside it. You choose the right one per region when you build the template.

Handwritten
handwritten region

Handwritten placeholder

Accepts a handwritten signature only. Use it for consent lines, initials, and low-value approvals where a drawn or typed handwritten mark is what the document calls for.

Digital ◆
◆ digital region

Digital placeholder

Accepts a digital signature only — from a USB token, smartcard, certificate store, or a Gravixia certificate. Use it where you need a cryptographically verified, tamper-evident signature.

Build the template once. Sign it many times.

Reusable placeholder layouts turn a repeatable signing process into a single, predictable step.
